Terms

Last updated 7 November 2026

The short version

  • Prices on this site are a starting point. Work begins only after a written quote you accept.
  • Your signed agreement always takes priority over this page.
  • Once you have paid, the code we write for you is yours.
  • An audit is a scoped review, not a guarantee that your app has no defects.

01About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and the general basis on which Emelar Republik ("Emelar Republik", "we") provides services. By using the site you accept them.

If you sign a statement of work, quote or other agreement with us, that agreement governs the engagement and takes priority wherever it differs from this page.

02Using this website

You may browse the site and share links to it. Please do not copy its content or design for commercial use, try to break or overload it, or use it to send us anything unlawful or harmful.

We write the site carefully, but its content is general information, not professional advice for your situation. Projects marked as samples illustrate the kind of work we do and are not client work.

03Quotes and engagements

  • Prices on this site are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which we show in your quote.
  • Sending a brief does not commit you to anything. An engagement starts only when you accept a written quote that sets out the scope, price, timing and access we need.
  • Delivery windows start on the agreed kickoff date, once payment and access are in place.
  • Changes to the agreed scope are quoted before we do the work.

04App audits

An audit is an independent engineering review of the flows, repositories and environments agreed in your quote. It reports what we found, the evidence, and our recommendations.

An audit is not a penetration test, a compliance certification or a guarantee that your app has no defects or vulnerabilities. Fixes are not included in the audit fee; we quote any repair work separately.

05Payment

Audits are paid in full before kickoff. Builds, repair sprints and ongoing work are invoiced as set out in your quote. Invoices are due within the period stated on them.

If we cannot start an audit because of something on our side, we refund what you paid for it.

06Who owns the work

Once you have paid in full, you own the code, designs and documents we create specifically for you, unless your agreement says otherwise. Audit reports are yours to use and share inside your business.

We keep ownership of our own tools, templates and general know-how, and you get a licence to use any of them that end up in your deliverables. Open source components stay under their own licences.

We will only show your project in our portfolio with your written permission.

07Confidentiality

We treat your code, data and business information as confidential and use it only to deliver the agreed work. We are happy to sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive.

08Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. The website is provided as it is, without warranties.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country of competent jurisdiction, and disputes go to the courts of that country. We will always try to resolve a problem with you directly first.

10Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions go to contact@emelarrepublik.com.
